Eligibility

Fusion aims to identify U.S. or Korean companies that possess strong competitive advantages in technology, healthcare, energy, consumer products, and other growth sectors. These companies are typically considered small firms in the middle market.  Fusion provides founders and management teams with the opportunity to become part of a publicly traded Indian company, enabling them to develop and scale their businesses globally and eventually exit through value creation.

Criteria 1: Your company must meet the minimum thresholds established by the India Group for revenue, competitive advantage, and growth potential. It should demonstrate strong financial performance, solid management, and a strategic position in its sector.

Criteria 2: Your company, with the existing owners continuing as key operators driving business growth, must clearly outline how it will significantly benefit from the arrangement by effectively leveraging the status of the public company. This includes presenting a well-defined strategy for expanding and growing its business not only within India but also in domestic and international markets.

Who is the India Group? The India Group is Fusion’s partner, operating from Singapore, India, and Abu Dhabi, and consists of professionals from the financial, government, and legal sectors. The Group facilitates and implements restructured growth strategies for publicly listed Indian companies on major stock exchanges.

Fusion is the exclusive partner of the India Group, responsible for conducting the necessary preliminary due diligence to ascertain whether your company meets the required criteria. In addition, we advise, guide, and facilitate efforts to meet all requirements and complete the process.

The Process

Your company must comply with the legal, financial and other relevant requirements and procedures established by India Group, including providing relevant required corporate and financial documents.

Several essential agreements and documents, including the acquisition agreement, will need to be prepared.  While these documents, along with those required by the securities exchange and Indian Government are crucial, they will be addressed as needed and are intentionally omitted here.

The India Group strongly prefers that the existing owners of the acquired U.S. company continue as key principals, driving business growth both in the U.S. and internationally, including in India.
